For Software.org’s final SIP partner engagement of the summer, FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel joined students for a virtual conversation and Q&A. The Commissioner shared more about her work at the Federal Communications Commission—including expanding broadband access and reducing the “homework gap” for millions of American students—and urged the class to work on topics that interest them as they start to think about careers. Finally, the Commissioner encouraged students to expose themselves to as many different job options as possible through internships because they can be a great way to gauge your likes and dislikes before deciding on a career path.
Guest Speaker: FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel
