Jeremy Allaire is the co-founder and CEO of social payments company Circle, providing a consumer financial app that allows people to use money the same way they use the Internet – instant, global, free and social – by utilizing the blockchain.

Allaire has two decades of experience building and leading global Internet software platform and online service companies as co-founder and CTO of Allaire Corporation – a pioneer in the use of the Internet as a platform for commerce and business applications – and as CTO of Macromedia and founder and Chairman of the Board of Brightcove, which today powers video operations on nearly 25 percent of the top 10,000 websites in the world. Allaire double-majored in Political Science and Philosophy at Macalaster College.
