Deputy General Counsel at Workday
Jason Albert is Associate General Counsel for Policy for Workday, a leading cloud provider of enterprise human capital and financial management services. In this role, Albert is responsible for Workday’s global policy and regulatory engagement across a range of issues – including privacy, security, cloud computing, and big data – as well as driving core strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Workday, Albert spent close to a decade at Microsoft, where he held a number of roles related to intellectual property, compliance, and cloud regulatory policy. Earlier in his career, Albert practiced at Covington & Burling in the firm’s D.C., Brussels, and London offices. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and clerked for Senior Judge Richard L. Williams of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
